Awareness Programme under Swachhata Pakhwada 16th – 31st May, 2017 KVK, West Garo Hills, Tura, Meghalaya.
The students of L.P and U.P Chunmati school, Sangsanggre, Tura were made aware regarding cleanliness under Swachh Bharat Mission by KVK, ICAR, West Garo Hills, Tura on 24th May, 2017. In the programme, the KVK staffs explained about the objectives of Swachhta Pakhwada and made aware the students regarding hygiene, cleanliness and to keep themselves clean as well as the surroundings of school, house etc. Further, they were advised to throw waste materials in proper place or dustbins so as to prevent from environmental pollution. The programme ended with the cleanliness of school surroundings/ premises by the students and staffs.
